Setting Up SketchUp
Downloading and Installing
Whether you are new to SketchUp or just coming back after a break, we want to help you get things up and running.
To get started, follow these steps:
- SketchUp Hardware and Software Requirements – Take a look at what you need to run SketchUp along with some additional compatibility information.
- Downloading SketchUp - Download the latest version of SketchUp and view some additional information you might need before beginning the installation process.

- Activating SketchUp Pro – After installing SketchUp, you might have some questions about opening the application or authorizing your subscription.This page provides some extra information you might need to start modeling right away.
You'll need a Trimble Account to activate SketchUp. You can always access the Trimble Account Management page by visiting myaccount.trimble.com to make sure you're up-to-date.
