Trimble Identity, also known as Trimble ID, is the sign-in functionality used for fast, secure access to SketchUp and all Trimble products. Trimble ID uses multiple layers of high-level protection, safeguarding your privacy and protecting your data.
Trimble ID provides significant security and user experience features including:
- Multi-factor authentication provides added security to protect your information from malicious threats.
- Single Sign-On (SSO) enabling one sign in for all Trimble applications.
- Social sign-in and registration options like Google, Apple, and Microsoft
- The option to federate your company’s identity provider, taking advantage of your existing SSO capabilities.
- Easy to use account management options giving you control over your account details like your email address, passwords, and MFA methods.
To use SketchUp or any Trimble products you will need to login using your Trimble ID. Your Trimble ID also provides access to cloud storage with Trimble Connect, downloadable models in 3D Warehouse, SketchUp's Extension Warehouse, and the SketchUp Community forums.
