LayOut's line and shape tools make it easy to draw visual elements that give your document a polished look.With the tools available in LayOut, you can better organize the content on each page of your document. Not only will it look cool, but it will be easier for your audience to understand. 

Choosing a Template The first thing you will see when opening LayOut is the Welcome Window.

LayOut’s interface contains the basic tools and features you need to create documents and presentations to suit your design needs. Parts of the LayOut interface, and the way you navigate a LayOut document, can look and feel a lot like SketchUp. There are still some key differences to keep in mind.

3D Warehouse is a great resource for both new and existing SketchUp users. With 3D Warehouse you can curate a collection of your own creations, share those creations with others in the SketchUp community, and view or download the creations of others. Here, we'll cover what you need to get started:
