Multiple product licenses can be purchased under the same SketchUp subscription. Each license you purchase can be assigned to a different user. The Trimble Admin Console can help Account Owners assign purchased licenses to a user.

Assigning a License to a New User

  1. In the left pane, select Products & Licenses.
  2. Locate and click the subscription you want to assign a user to.
  3. Under Assigned Licenses select Assign Licenses

  1. Enter up to 20 email addresses for users you want to assign licenses to.

    Note: To add more than 20 users at once, use the Upload CSV tab to download a CSV template you can fill out and upload.
  2. Click Assign Licenses.
  3. The user will receive an email letting them know they now have access to the products in that SketchUp subscription.

Assigning a License to an Existing User

  1. Select Users from the left hand navigation pane.
  2. Use the search bar or browse through the list of users to locate the existing user you want to assign a license to.
  3. Click the More Options ().
  4. Select Edit User.
  5. Any license assigned to that user appears under Assigned Licenses. If the user hasn’t been assigned a license, click Assign Licenses.
  6. Use the search bar or browse through the list of subscriptions with available licenses and locate the subscription you want to assign that user to.
  7. Check the box next to that license and click Save Assignments. Click Cancel to exit without saving.
  8. The user will receive an email letting them know they now have access to the products in that SketchUp subscription.
After a user is assigned a license, all the products available to them appear in the My Products page. To help your users get started with their new product licenses, direct them to https://accounts.trimble.com/products or take a look at My Products for more details on accessing and downloading their entitlements.

Remove a User’s License:

Note: Removing a user’s access to a product license does not remove the license from your account. To remove a license you will need to cancel your subscription and resubscribe using your new license count. For more information on how to cancel a subscription, see Refunds and Cancellations.

To remove a user’s license from the Users section:

  1. Select Users from the left pane.
  2. Use the search bar or browse through the list of users to locate the user you want to remove a product license from.
  3. Click More Options next to that user ().
  4. Select Edit User.
  5. Under Assigned Licenses, click Edit.
  6. Uncheck the box next to the license you want to remove and click Save Assignments.

  7. The user will receive an email letting them know they no longer have access to the products in that SketchUp subscription.

To remove a user’s license from Products & Licenses:

  1. Select Products & Licenses from the left pane.
  2. Under Assigned Licenses, use the search bar or browse through the list of users to locate the user you want to remove a product license from.
  3. Check the box next to each user you want to remove a product license from.
  4. At the bottom of the page, a dialog appears letting you know how many users you have selected. When all users have been selected, click Unassign License.

  5. Click Confirm Changes.
  6. The user will receive an email letting them know they no longer have access to the products in that SketchUp subscription.
