When you set Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Trimble provides backup codes as a secure account recovery option if you lose access to your MFA methods.
Trimble will prompt you to get your codes when you first set up MFA. If you have already set up MFA but haven’t gotten your codes, you will be prompted to do so when you login.
When the recovery code window appears, clicking Get My Codes provides a list of recovery codes specific to your account. You can then download them as a document to your device, or copy them so you can store them however you would like.

If you lose access to your MFA methods and need to access your account, you will see an option to use a recovery code instead.
When you use a recovery code, your Trimble account will default to using a one-time passcode until you update your MFA settings. You can update your MFA method at any time using the instructions in Multi-Factor Authentication.
