We offer several types of purchasing options for SketchUp for our Go, Pro, and Studio subscriptions when buying online. We accept major credit cards and PayPal.
On November 4, 2020, we stopped selling our perpetual Classic license. The Classic License consisted of one of 3 license types – Single-user, Network, and Enterprise. All required a license serial number and authorization code. If you purchased a subscription, you will just need your Trimble ID to sign in to the software and authenticate. You won’t need a license serial number or authorization code.
Subscription
A subscription is a termed plan allowing a new method for managing your account and tracking assets. There are three Subscription products available: SketchUp Go, SketchUp Pro, and SketchUp Studio. You can learn more about the different options on our Plans and Pricing page.
If you have already purchased and want to learn more about managing your plan(s) in the Admin Console, see Plan Management.
*Subscriptions can be used offline for up to 28 days before requiring an internet connection to re-authenticate. If the subscription is scheduled to end within that time, it will still end even if your device is offline.
Fill out our contact form to have a SketchUp sales representative contact you directly. If you prefer to buy SketchUp online through the Trimble Store, you can purchase it on our Plans and Pricing page.
Classic License
Note that the "Classic License" type is no longer available for purchase.
Single-user:
A Single-user entitlement is assigned to one person and can only be used by the registered user. That individual can use their entitlement on two computers that they use. This is typically a work computer/desktop and a laptop.
