A single-user license or sign-in subscription is associated with one person. That individual can install the license on up to 2 computers they are using. Only one computer device can run that specific version using that license at a time. Follow these steps to use your license on another device or transfer a classic license to a new computer:
Classic Licenses can authorize specific versions of SketchUp. To authorize the version of SketchUp associated with your Classic License:
To find your SketchUp Pro license information, please do the following: Launch SketchUp Pro. Browse to the SketchUp menu at the top of your screen. Select License from the drop-down menu. You'll see the dialog box below. Record the serial number EXACTLY. You might want to copy and paste the information because typographical errors will prevent you from upgrading successfully.
To find your SketchUp Pro license information, please do the following: Launch SketchUp Pro. Browse to the Help menu at the top of your screen. Select License > License Info from the drop-down menu. You'll see the dialog box below. Record the User, Company, and Serial number EXACTLY as typographical errors will prevent you from upgrading successfully.
To correct this issue, we suggest uninstalling and reinstalling SketchUp.
The Maintenance and Support program only applies to SketchUp Pro customers with a Classic License and is not necessary for users with a SketchUp subscription plan. SketchUp discontinued the Maintenance and Support Program November 4, 2020.
