When SketchUp Pro is first installed, the program is set to evaluation mode. To unlock the evaluation, SketchUp Pro needs to be authorized with a valid license. If you have a SketchUp Pro license and would like further assistance authorizing, click here.
To correct this issue, we suggest uninstalling and reinstalling SketchUp.
SketchUp licenses are version-specific (eg. 2013, 8, 7, 6, etc....). Follow the steps below to upgrade your current SketchUp Pro license to the most recent version of SketchUp Pro, which is 2013:
The Maintenance and Support program only applies to SketchUp Pro customers with a Classic License and is not necessary for users with a SketchUp subscription plan. SketchUp discontinued the Maintenance and Support Program November 4, 2020. When you first create a model, your model will not contain any geographic orientation or coordinates. You can always use one of the three axes as a placeholder for a cardinal direction. For example:
The Credits feature in SketchUp requires your Google Account to have a Nickname associated with it. To add a Nickname to your Google Account, visit the 3D Warehouse and click the Sign In link in the upper right-hand corner.
