The SketchUp Viewer for Android helped users store and share their SketchUp projects on their mobile devices. Over time, SketchUp has also implemented more effective alternatives like Link Sharing and the Trimble Connect Visualizer.

With that in mind, beginning August 29, 2025, SketchUp will no longer support the SketchUp Viewer for Android and discontinue the app in Google Play. SketchUp is also discontinuing the SketchUp Android AR subscription effective August 5th, 2025.

  • Trimble Connect – Any model published to Trimble Connect can easily be shared with stakeholders or collaborators.
  • Link Sharing – You can share a link to any model published to Trimble Connect that users can then view in SketchUp for Web.
  • Trimble Connect Visualizer – A Trimble Connect Workflow Extension, the Trimble Connect Visualizer is a great way to share your designs.
