Customizing the Interface and Setting Preferences
Everyone who uses LayOut uses it a little bit differently. The folks who developed LayOut understand that and created options that enable you to customize how the interface looks and works:
- Customize the toolbar with your favorite commands and adjust the size of the toolbar icons.
- Organize the panels based on different workflows by creating your own panel trays (Microsoft Windows only).
- Create your own keyboard shortcuts.
- Set global preferences for your companion applications, backups, folder locations, startup template, and more.
Tip: You can also set preferences for specific features. Presenting Your LayOut Project covers Presentation preferences options. Editing a SketchUp Model’s View and Style Settings in LayOut explains how to set Scale preferences for a SketchUp model entity.
