Scan Space
Scan Space is a new SketchUp Labs feature available on SketchUp Viewer for Meta Quest. With Scan Space you can turn your real-world surroundings into simple SketchUp models using your favorite Quest device.
Scan Space uses Quest’s embedded cameras and sensors to capture the spatial data of any room and convert that data into a simplified SketchUp model.
To use Scan Space, you need the following:
- A Meta Quest 2, 3, 3S, or Pro.
- A SketchUp account associated with a Trimble ID. No subscription required.
- The free SketchUp Viewer application on your Meta Quest device.
Note: SketchUp Labs projects are in development. That means some things may be unstable, and some features may be changed or removed. Access to this feature is subject to change at any time.
