Data Collection

In keeping with Trimble’s General Product Terms and Privacy Commitment, SketchUp collects anonymized usage data when you use Diffusion, including: 

  • Analytics about interactions with the Diffusion panel and interface
  • The submitted source image
  • Custom text prompts
  • What settings were used such as Style Presets and Settings adjustments
  • The resulting AI-generated images

Any information we collect is used to help us better understand how our product features are being used. This includes product improvement plans, future roadmaps, and even creating learning materials that can help users be more successful when using Diffusion. 

With those considerations, please be mindful of what visual and text-based inputs you use with SketchUp Diffusion. If you do not wish to have this type of data collected, we ask you not to use Diffusion.
