I purchased V-Ray for SketchUp directly from Chaos. Would I get more features if I purchased it through a SketchUp Studio subscription?

There are no feature differences when you purchase V-Ray for SketchUp from Chaos. However, you will not be able to link your Trimble ID to your Chaos account. You will need to login using the appropriate credentials when using each product.

If I change my SketchUp subscription to a Pro or Go subscription will I be able to keep using V-Ray?

When your SketchUp Studio subscription ends and the new subscription plan begins you will lose access to V-Ray for SketchUp.

Can I use V-Ray for SketchUp with older versions of SketchUp?

V-Ray for SketchUp only works with supported versions of SketchUp. If you are not sure if you are using a supported version, see our End of Support Policy for more information.

How do I use the Chaos Cloud and Cloud Credits?

Does V-Ray for SketchUp support OpenCL or MacOS?

While not recommended, you can use V-Ray for SketchUp with decreased performance.

Can I use V-Ray for SketchUp with a Macbook’s default graphics card?

V-Ray for SketchUp works best on a Windows system intended for 3D rendering. While possible, you will have decreased performance.

How can I tell if my system can use the latest version of V-Ray for SketchUp?
