Downloading

Scan Essentials is only available with a SketchUp Pro Scan, SketchUp Pro Advanced Workflows, or Studio subscription. You can download Scan Essentials from My Products, the Windows installer, or SketchUp Extension Warehouse.

Installation

Scan Essentials is an extension. See Adding Extensions to SketchUp for more information on installing extensions. After you install Scan Essentials, close and restart SketchUp to complete the installation. When you launch Scan Essentials for the first time, you may see a few more installation dialog boxes..

Hardware & Software Requirements

• Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 or 11 - 64-bit.
• Processor: 2.8 GHz (Quad-Core) or higher
• RAM: 16 GB or more
• VGA card: OpenGL 3.3 compatible with minimum 1 GB VRAM. OpenGL 4.4 with 3 GB of VRAM recommended for best performance. 3-button mouse recommended.
