Downloading models in 3D Warehouse - File formats

3D Warehouse maintains SketchUp files in the current version, the previous two versions, and the version the model was originally uploaded in. This means that you will no longer be able to download SketchUp 2017 and 2018 models unless you are the uploader of that model. If you are using an older version of SketchUp, you can still download models in a COLLADA (.DAE) format.

  1. First you'll need to locate the model you wish to download in 3D Warehouse.

  2. Once you've located your model just find the Download button, clicking it will give you come choices:

     

     
  3. After the download completes,  the file may be in a ZIP file format and will need to be extracted.

For faster, smaller files, download models in a more recent version of SketchUp.
