SketchUp’s User Certification Program offers certifications that reflect the level of expertise a user has with SketchUp. The program incorporates courses, eLearning, exams, and work reviews to evaluate proficiency in five key skill areas:

  • Modeling – Creating and modifying geometry in SketchUp.
  • Orientation – Navigating the SketchUp interface and knowing what tool or feature to use for any given workflow.
  • Organization – Organizing and maintaining a high level of detail and object control within a model.
  • Visual – Using visual-based features like Styles and Materials.
  • Enablement – Going beyond just modeling in SketchUp and demonstrating an ability to use other bundled products and features, like LayOut or 3D Warehouse.
